OUR CHURCH HISTORY
Our Beginnings ...

It is said that the church was started in 1914 under a brush arbor about one and a half miles north of the present location. The idea was conceived by the late Rev. Adolphas D. Roberson a young man concerned about the work of the Lord and a place for the people in the community to worship. He presented his idea to five of his closest friends. A discussion was held among these men and it was decided that a black church was needed in the community. Then it was further discussed that the church would be named Good Aim. Rev. Adolphas D. Roberson stated that he wanted to name the church Good Aim for its work and its AIM would always be GOOD.
